My time at KSP

I can’t begin to express my gratitude to the Katherine Susannah Prichard Writers Centre, where I recently spent two weeks as a writer in residence.

Being able to live and breathe my novel for such an uninterrupted length of time is a rare privilege, and it has borne fruit. I have never been more productive in my life. Holed away in my cosy little cabin, I wrote 40,000 new words (though they need a LOT of editing), plotted and brainstormed and started a short story. I read and walked and taught a workshop and met some fabulous, kind, inspiring people.

Thank you KSP Writers’ Centre for this incredible gift. I have enjoyed every second of this fellowship, and I hope I can come back some day. And thank you Katherine. What a wonderful legacy you’ve left for writers πŸ“š
